Running Lead Clip System

Our Running Lead Clip System is a clever, fish-safe solution designed to improve hooking rates while helping you retain more leads. At the heart of the system is a rubberised plug that sits inside the safety clip. When a carp picks up the rig and is hooked, the clip is released from the plug but remains on the line, instantly transforming the setup into a running rig.
 
This design offers the best of both worlds: the initial hooking power of a bolt rig, followed by the freedom of a running rig. Once the fish is hooked, the weight can no longer be used as leverage to shake the hook, increasing your chances of landing it. The plug creates just the right amount of resistance for the lead to drive the hook home effectively, then releases to let the rig run freely. Because the safety clip is not fixed in place, you also lose fewer leads during the fight.
 
This system is particularly effective on pressured waters where carp have become adept at ejecting traditional rigs. With the our Running Lead Clip System, you can fish more efficiently and with greater confidence.
